Your data, handled with respect.

This page explains what information Studio XP collects, how it's used, and the rights you have over it. No legal jargon for the sake of it — just a clear account of how we handle your data.

1. Who we are

Studio XP is operated by Detlev Desmet, based in Belgium. We build AI automation systems for ambitious businesses. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit studioxp.ai or interact with us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

For any privacy-related question, contact us at detlev@studio-xperience.com.

2. What data we collect

Contact details you submit through our booking or contact forms — such as your name, email address, phone number, and company name.

Usage data collected automatically when you browse the site, such as pages visited, time on page, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

Communication records — if you email us, message us, or book a call, we keep a record of that conversation so we can follow up properly.

3. Why we collect it

To respond to inquiries and deliver the services you request.

To schedule and manage strategy calls booked through our site.

To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

To meet legal and accounting obligations where applicable.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data based on your consent (e.g. submitting a form), the necessity to perform a contract (e.g. delivering a service you purchased), and our legitimate interest in operating and improving Studio XP.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a minimal set of cookies and analytics tools to understand site traffic and improve the experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time — the site will continue to function, though some features may be limited.

6. Third parties

We use trusted third-party services to operate Studio XP — such as hosting providers, scheduling tools (e.g. Calendly), and email/communication platforms. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own data protection obligations. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

7. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law (e.g. accounting records). When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to request a copy of your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at detlev@studio-xperience.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Belgium, the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (GBA/APD).

9. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and only share it on a need-to-know basis.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on this page, and the date below reflects the most recent update.
